Journey Around the Globe contains 24 lessons for teaching soprano recorder. Notes are introduced individually, in sequence, and in the context of folk songs from around the world. Each of the lessons is accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation. The slides progress through the steps of the lesson, and also contain pictures from the country featured in the lesson plan including scenery, famous places and people, foods, musicians, and sports. Many of the folk songs include arrangements for Orff instruments and movement.
