The Studio 49 SXG 2000 soprano xylophone has Grillodur bars measuring 32 x 14 mm.  Grillodur, a highly refined fiberglass material, offers high impact strength as well as resistance to changes in humidity, making it an excellent choice for those making music in an outdoor setting.  The pitch range is c2-a3 with c1 being middle C.  The resonator box is made of pine, and has multiple resonance chambers for excellent sound quality.  Attached handles are incorporated into the design of the instrument for carrying ease.  Each instrument comes with f-sharp and b-flat bars and a pair of S50 mallets.  The SXG 2000 coordinates with chromatic extension H-SXG 2000.
