The Studio 49 SXG 1000 alto xylophone has Grillodur bars measuring 32 x 10
mm. Grillodur is a highly refined fiberglass material which offers high impact strength as
well as resistance to changes in temperature and humidity, making it highly stable over time and in a variety of climates. The pitch range is c2-a3 with c1 being middle
C. The resonator box is made of pine, and has multiple resonance chambers for
excellent sound quality.
Generous handles are incorporated into the design of the
instrument for carrying ease. Each instrument comes with f-sharp and b-flat bars
and a pair of CS55 mallets.
