The Studio 49 Series 1000 offers high quality instruments in a compact style for
easy transportation and storage. The BX 1000 bass xylophone weighs only 16
pounds, and measures 27 x 15 x 14 inches, bars included. It has bright Rosewood bars, and the
pitch range is c-a1 with c1 being middle C. The resonator box is made of pine,
and has multiple resonance chambers for excellent sound quality. Attached
handles are incorporated into the design of the instrument for carrying ease. Each
instrument comes with f-sharp and b-flat bars and a pair of CS7 mallets.
