The Studio 49 GAd alto Glockenspiel has special steel sound bars measuring 20 x 2 mm, and fabric-coated tubing for lasting durability.  The tone is thinner than the AGd 2000, but still pleasant. The pitch range is c2-a3 diatonic, with c1 being middle C.  Each instrument comes with f- sharp and b-flat bars, and one pair of PKS 3 mallets.  The resonator box is made of solid beech, and includes a holder on the front of the box for the three extra bars.  The GAd coordinates with chromatic extension H-GA.
