The Studio 49 SM 1600 soprano metallophone has aluminum sound bars measuring 30 x 6 mm.  The pitch range is c2-a3 diatonic, with c1 being middle C.  Each instrument comes with f-sharp and b-flat bars, and one pair of S 55 mallets. The resonator box is made of pine with multiple resonance chambers for excellent sound quality.  Attached handles are incorporated into the design for carrying ease.  The SM 1600 coordinates with chromatic extension H-SM 1600.
