In addition to several anonymous pieces, Steve Rosenberg has selected music of Guillaume Dufay, Pierre Sandrin, Thomas Morley, Pierre Phalèse, Claudin de Sermisy, Michael Praetorius, Turlough O'Carolan, G.F. Handel, Henry Purcell and Marin Marais to name a few.
He closes the volume with one of my favorite recorder pieces of all time, The Fairie Round by Anthony Holborne.
