The Sonor GBKM 10 Meisterklasse deep bass metallophone
has special alloy metal sound bars measuring 45 x 13 mm. All bars receive
overtone tuning. This is Sonor’s most resonant bass metallophone.
The pitch range is c-a1, diatonic, with c1 being middle C.
F-sharp and
b-flat bars are included. The resonator box is made of pine and has six
resonance chambers. Brackets are included for use with accessory legs or
the Basis Trolley system. The GBKX 10 comes with one pair of SCH 15
mallets, and coordinates with chromatic extension GBKM 20.
