The Studio 49 AM 2000 alto metallophone with harmonic
overtone tuning, has high quality profiled aluminum sound bars measuring 32 x 8
mm, giving a tone that is balanced and warm. The pitch range is c1-a2
diatonic, with c1 being middle C. Each instrument comes with f-sharp and b-flat
bars, and one pair of S 7 mallets. The resonator box is made of pine with
multiple resonance chambers for excellent sound quality. Attached handles
are incorporated into the design for carrying ease. The AM 2000
coordinates with chromatic extension H-AM 2000.
