Tubing, felt and nail covers for Studio 49 soprano and alto
metallophone chromatic add-ons
manufactured from 1975 - 1991. These are called Type II
instruments and their
resonator boxes are lined with plastic. The nails are embedded
upside down in the
plastic and do not come out unless the interior of the box is
cracked. The package
contains tubing and felt strips with rubber nail covers.
