notes for each of the 29 lullabies, but no musical transcriptions. The illustrations
are particularly beautiful and all the singers (adults and children), the musicians,
and the translators are acknowledged in the book. Representing 11 languages of
Central and West Africa, the selections come from Cameroon, Central African
Republic, Congo, Guinea-Conakry, Ivory Coast, Mauritania, Mali, Rwanda, Senegal
and Togo. This collection was first published in France 2002, and in it's present
form in 2011. Book of 64 pages, with CD.
