using Boomwhackers. The nature of Boomwhackers allow them to be used in
three ways: as rhythm instruments, as harmonic instruments, and as melodic
instruments (with one tube per person in the style of handbells). The
contents of the book utilize all three functions of these instruments to teach basic
rhythmic, melodic, and harmonic literacy. The accompanying discs contain
projectable PDF files of visuals as well as accompaniment tracks to go with each
musical example.
