This new recorder resource from Artie Almeida contains the echo-style warm-up
sequences that Artie uses to begin each of her recorder classes. Originally
published in "Recorder Classroom" magazine the contents of the book are
presented in two sets. The first six warm-ups, "Excellent Ears," are easier and
moderately short. These six echoes are based on the notes B, A, and G, and the
note combinations BA, AG, and BAG. The last three warm-ups, "Easy Echoes,"
are longer, and spiral progressively. They feature the note sequences BAG,
BAGC'D', and low D low E BAG. Since these sets are more complex, three
recordings are provided for each, at 84 bpm, 92 bpm, and 100 bpm.In
addition to the printed and downloadable versions of these warm-ups, Easy
Echos features extensive notes from Artie Almedia on each sequence and
options for adapting them for specific classroom needs. The
accompanying CD contains recordings of each sequence for students to echo.
