This rich collection contains 39 rounds and canons composed over a span of 300
years and representing 10 countries and 9 languages underscored with IPA
pronunciations. Musically the collection includes music in major, minor, Aeolian,
Dorian, and Mixolydian modes. The widest vocal range is an 11th (Dutch - The
Wielewaal) and the smallest a 4th (Japanese - Hotaru Koi). Most of the rounds are
in 3 or 4 parts, but there are also 2-, 5-, 6-, and 9-part rounds included as well.
